Founded in 2021, Ambio Life Sciences operates a residential retreat center on the Playas de Tijuana coastline, offering medically supervised ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT protocols for patients who have not responded to conventional treatment. The center’s clinical work draws on a growing body of research — including Stanford University studies — examining ibogaine’s effects on PTSD, traumatic brain injury, addiction, and neurodegenerative conditions.
Ambio’s programs run from 5 to 30 days in a residential setting, combining ibogaine treatment with individual counseling, group therapy, and somatic work. The center serves both men and women, with bilingual staff and an environment designed for the full arc of a psychedelic treatment journey — preparation, the experience itself, and integration.
